About me

Hello! Iā€™m Joey Nottoli!

I am a 21 year old student at Illinois State University, in Normal, Illinois, where I am studying Arts Technology. Since I could remember, I have always had a camera in my hand. As a creative kid, I was always looking for new ways to express myself and it seems that the camera was the best way to do that. My first camera was my parents old tape camcorder that I used to make little movies for myself but who would have known goofing around would turn into something much more. Even though I still have video as a business, my focus has greatly shifted towards photography. My experience in photography has interested me in many genres such as portraiture, landscape, events, nature, and wildlife. However, none compare towards my passion for sports photography. Starting out by photographing my high school's football team, I have branched out into many fields, courts, and rinks. My favorite sport to capture is hockey. Hockey has always been involved in my life in some way, shape, or form, and finding a way to combine my two passions (hockey and photography) has helped me realize what I want to be most, a head photographer for an NHL team.  Even though sports are my main focus, I don't let that distract me from other areas of the photography business. I am an experience portraiture and event photographer and have been for quite a while. I strive to give the best images that will last a lifetime. I hope you choose me to be your photographer to capture your favorite moments.
